# Granola

> Bring your Granola meetings into Italic as Memos, and ask about them in chat.

<Callout type="warn">Not available yet: Granola is being tested and isn't open to customers yet.</Callout>

Connect Granola and your meeting notes sit beside everything else you
recorded. Chat can read your meetings, and **Import meetings** copies their
notes into [Home](/home) as Memos.

## Connect Granola [#connect-granola]

In **Connectors** on the web or the Mac, choose **Granola**. On the iPhone,
open **Profile → Connectors → Granola**. Choose **Connect Granola** and sign
in on Granola's screen. Choose **Connect another account** to add more Granola
accounts.

## Ask about your meetings [#ask-about-your-meetings]

Try "What did we decide in yesterday's meetings?" Italic can find your
meetings, read their notes, and read a meeting's transcript when you ask. By
default it only reads Granola, so these run right away, without a draft.
Granola's other tools start off; open **More Granola tools** on its page to
turn one on. Anything that would change Granola waits as a draft for you,
unless you choose **Allow without asking**.

A workflow's **Run agent** action can read Granola too. Once it has, what it
does next waits for you, even in a workflow that runs automatically.

## Import meetings [#import-meetings]

On Granola's page, choose **Import meetings**. Italic copies the notes of the
meetings you took or were listed in, newest first, and the page shows how far
it got. You can **Stop** at any time. If the import pauses, the page says why,
and **Go on importing** picks up where it left off.

- Each meeting becomes a Memo with Granola's title and time, who else was
there, Granola's notes and your own notes.
- The Memo says Granola where a recording shows its device, with **Open in
  Granola**.
- Transcripts and audio aren't copied. The web's Transcript tab and the
iPhone's "Transcript in Granola" card read the transcript from Granola when
  you open them.
- Colleagues' team notes are left out, and so are meetings with no notes yet.
- Imported meetings don't start workflows and don't count in [Stats](/home#stats).

Nothing imports in the background. Choose **Import new meetings** later to
copy only what's new. A meeting already on Home is skipped, and one
you deleted in Italic stays deleted. With several accounts, each has its own
import.

## Remove an account [#remove-an-account]

Choose **Remove** beside an account. Italic signs out of it at Granola and
stops its import. The Memos it imported stay on Home.
