# Linear

> Let Italic find your Linear issues and create or update them.

<Callout type="warn">Not available yet: Linear is being tested and isn't open to customers yet.</Callout>

With Linear connected, "What's assigned to me in Linear?" or "File a bug: the
login button does nothing" works from chat or after you record.

## Connect Linear [#connect-linear]

In **Connectors** on the web or the Mac, choose **Linear**. On the iPhone,
open **Profile → Connectors → Linear**. Choose **Connect Linear**, and pick
your workspace on Linear's screen. Choose **Connect another workspace** to add
more.

Linear gives Italic read and write access to the whole workspace you pick:
every team, issue, project and comment you can see there. Italic uses only the
tools that are on.

## What Italic can do [#what-italic-can-do]

- Find and read issues.
- Create issues.
- Change an issue's status, assignee and other fields.
- Comment on issues.

It can't delete issues or comments, or see workspaces you didn't pick.

Finding and reading issues runs right away, without a draft. A new issue,
change or comment is a draft, such as **Create issue**, that you approve
before anything changes in Linear. With **Allow without asking**, Italic makes
the change at once.

The **Tools** section of Linear's page lists the tools that are on by default.
Open **More Linear tools** to turn on others. Your choices apply to every
workspace.

## In workflows [#in-workflows]

- **Create Linear issue** files an issue in the team you pick.
- **Comment on Linear issue** comments on the issue you name.
- **Update Linear issue** changes its status, assignee or priority.

Each action asks first or runs automatically, and a **Run agent** action can
use Linear too.

## Remove a workspace [#remove-a-workspace]

Choose **Remove** beside a workspace to revoke Italic's access to it at
Linear.
