# Notion

> Let Italic find your Notion pages and save memos into them.

Connect Notion and Italic can find and read the pages you share with it, and
save to them, so "put this memo in my meeting notes" works from chat or after
you record.

## Connect a workspace [#connect-a-workspace]

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Notion">
    In **Connectors** on the web or the Mac, choose **Notion**. On the
    iPhone, open **Profile → Connectors → Notion**.
  </Step>
  <Step title="Choose what Italic can see">
    Choose **Connect a Notion workspace**. Notion asks which pages and
    databases Italic may use. Pick at least one.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Italic only sees the pages you pick. To share more later, choose **Choose
pages** beside the workspace. Choose **Connect another workspace** to add more
workspaces.

## What Italic can do [#what-italic-can-do]

- Find the pages and databases you share with it.
- Read those pages.
- Create a page inside a page or database you choose.
- Add text to the end of a page.

It can't see pages you haven't shared, or change or delete what's already in
your pages.

Try "Find my meeting notes page", "Put this memo in my meeting notes" or "Add
this to my meeting notes page." Italic drafts the page or addition with
**Save to Notion** or **Add to page** (**Add to Page** on the iPhone), and you
can edit it before approving.
A saved page links to **Open in Notion**.

With **Allow without asking**, Italic saves to Notion right away. It asks you
to confirm first: "Save to Notion without asking?"

## In workflows [#in-workflows]

- **Save to Notion** makes a new page in the page or database you pick.
- **Add to Notion page** adds text to the end of a page you pick.

With **Run automatically**, a new recording makes the page without asking.
A **Run agent** action can also use Notion. If it reads a page, what it does
next waits for you.

## Remove a workspace [#remove-a-workspace]

Choose **Remove** beside the workspace. Italic gives up its access, and the
pages it already saved stay in Notion.
