Eight Sleep
Ask Italic how you slept, and have it warm up, cool down or turn off your bed.
With Eight Sleep connected, you can ask how you slept and change your side of the bed from chat, without opening the Eight Sleep app.
Connect Eight Sleep
In Connectors, choose Eight Sleep. Enter the email and password you sign in to the Eight Sleep app with, then choose Connect Eight Sleep. Eight Sleep has no other way to connect an app: Italic signs in once and keeps a sign-in token, never your password.
Each sleeper has their own Eight Sleep account. To include the other side of the bed, choose Connect another account with its sleeper's agreement, and use Rename to tell the accounts apart.
What Italic can do
- Tell you how you slept: your sleep score, when you fell asleep and woke up, time asleep, light, deep and REM sleep, heart rate, HRV, breathing rate, and bed and room temperature.
- Check whether your side of the bed is on, and its level.
- Set your side to a level, from -100 (coldest) to 100 (warmest), turn it off, or turn it back on to its schedule.
Try "How did I sleep last night?", "How much deep sleep did I get this week?" or "Make my bed a bit cooler."
What Italic can't do
Italic can't change your schedule, alarms or Autopilot, or the other side of the bed unless its sleeper's account is connected too.
Permission
With Ask every time, reading your sleep runs right away, and each change to your bed is a draft you approve. Allow without asking changes your bed right away, and Off turns Eight Sleep off. Eight Sleep works in chat only, not in workflows. A draft waits in Chat and Tasks on the web, the Mac and iPhone, and its button says what it does, such as Set bed or Turn off.
Remove an account
Choose Remove beside an account. Italic deletes its sign-in token for it.
